Hailing from the great state of Texas, LeAnn's journey began with academic excellence at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, where she earned both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Not stopping there, she furthered her education at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. through a prestigious Graduate Assistantship in 1995, culminating in completing her Master's Degree with honors and a perfect 4.0 G.P.A. in 1996.
After Graduate School, LeAnn embarked on a successful career as a Corporate Headhunter for a Fortune 500 company, specializing in recruiting, placing, and marketing professionals in the Accounting and Finance sectors. This invaluable experience provided her with a solid foundation in corporate America and a wealth of industry knowledge, preparing her for future entrepreneurial ventures.
Remaining in the staffing and recruiting industry, LeAnn's career flourished until a significant life event: the birth of her first child. In 2005, she took an inspiring leap and joined forces with her husband, Dr. Steven J. Cyr, to co-found the Orthopaedic & Spine Institute (OSI). Assuming the roles of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, LeAnn demonstrated exceptional leadership in managing the business's financial, marketing, and operational aspects. Her dedication and strategic insight were pivotal in OSI's growth and success from 2005 to 2013.
In 2011, driven by her passion for helping companies thrive, LeAnn launched her own marketing and consulting firm, Oracle. Specializing in the healthcare industry, OracLe focused on devising innovative ways to expand and enhance the profitability of various companies. Leveraging her expertise in networking, commercial and grassroots marketing, and strategic partnerships, LeAnn aided clients in securing a larger market share and achieving sustainable growth.
Ever the philanthropist at heart, LeAnn's priorities shifted in 2014 when she decided to step down from her positions at OSI to concentrate on a noble endeavor, The Cyr Family Charitable Fund. This non-profit foundation, housed under the SAAF, was established to support various charitable causes and raise awareness for non-profit organizations. From 2014 to 2017, LeAnn dedicated significant efforts to assist non-profits in positively impacting their communities and global causes, embodying the values of compassion and giving back.
In 2017, fueled by her unwavering dedication to making a difference in the medical industry, LeAnn embarked on yet another exciting venture. As the CEO and Founder of Surgical Associates in Spine (SASpine), she set her sights on addressing healthcare providers' complex challenges. Under her guidance, SASpine aimed to establish a strong presence in San Antonio and expand into other cities, with Houston, Texas, the first destination on its growth map.
Beyond her professional endeavors, LeAnn Cyr remains firmly rooted in her faith, family, and community. Residing in Houston, Texas, with her husband and four children, the Cyrs epitomize a cohesive team committed to positively changing their communities.
